A Rugby Player’s Penis Needed 11 Stitches After A Crazy, Crazy Tackle

If you were feeling super-motivated to take up rugby, then think twice.

Haydn Peacock, who was playing for French team AS Carcassonne, suffered a horrific injury after an opposition player pulled him down after a scrum, clutching at his penis and almost ripping it off.

Peacock kept playing till half-time, not realising the extent of the damage — before asking for a doctor and needing 11 stitches to fix his member.

“I checked on it and the skin is half ripped off and I was like, where’s the doctor? In all of my career I’ve never heard of anyone having anything like that happen,” he was quoted as saying in a BBC report.

Peacock is quite the tough-nut to crack though – and has refused to wear any protection in future matches.

“I remember I had to strap it all up for the next game…the coach wanted me to go out and buy a cup but I’m not going to play with a cup. I got the stitches out and it’s all sweet. No dramas,” he said.
