‘If You Love Your Wife, Convert!’ Hindu Mahasabha Magazine Editorial Challenges Khans Of Bollywood

A while ago, we ran an article about the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and their magazine running Kareena Kapoor Khan’s morphed picture for their anti-love-jihad campaign.

The latest is an editorial in the Hindu Sabha Varta, a magazine of the Hindu Mahasabha which wants the Bollywood Khans, and all other Muslim men with Hindu wives…

…to convert to Hinduism if they truly love their wives.

The editorial “challenges” Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Aamir Khan to a dopt their wives’ religion and culture and also targets Fardeen Khan and Emraan Hashmi for marrying Hindus.

We don’t know what is more unfortunate.

That this is the only context when Fardeen and Emraan would be mentioned in the same sentence as Aamir or Shahrukh, or…

…the narrow-minded and ridiculously skewed views of right-wing extremists.

The editor and publisher of the weekly further describes Sharmila Tagore, Kareena Kapoor, Gauri Khan, Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta as victims of “love jihad”.

‘Victims’ indeed.

Is the Hindu Mahasabha so insecure, and the religion they profess to “protect”, so weak, that they have to make such callous statements to get noticed?

Our religion, our faith and our lives are none of their business.

And the Khans, most certainly, are not waiting for their approval nor do they need their “expert” marital advice.
