Srishti Magan

In this time and age, if it ain’t on social media, does anyone really know or care about it?

Or at least that’s what the British Royal communications team believes since they are on the lookout for a ‘Digital Communication Officer’, specifically for Queen Elizabeth II.

The Royal Household posted the job listing on their official website, stating the job requirements, work expectations, and of course, the salary, which is incidentally, £30,000 or approximately, ₹26.6 lakhs (depending upon the experience).

Finally, there is a way to justify all those hours spent browsing on social media.

Also, even as you work to ‘maintain The Queen’s presence in the public eye and on the world stage’, you get weekends off.

Yes, it’s true. My resume is already in the mail.

You’ll also be eligible to a ‘15% employer contribution pension scheme (after 6 months) and 33 days annual leave’. The last time I got a 33 days annual leave was when I was between jobs.

The last date to apply for the position is May 22, 2019 so you better use those social media skills you’ve spent years acquiring.
