Rabri Devi Slammed For Saying She Wants ‘Cultured’ & Not ‘Mall-Going’ Bahus For Her 2 Sons

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad’s wife, Rabri Devi, is looking for ‘desi girls’ for her two sons – Tej Pratap and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.

According to The Times of India, on the occasion of Lalu Prasad’s 70th birthday on Sunday, Rabri Devi said that she is looking for girls who would manage the house and respect elders and not the ‘cinema hall and mall-going girls.’

Cinema hall aur mall jane wali ladki nahi chahiye. Ghar chalaane wali, bade buzurg ka aadar karne wali, jaise ki hum hain, waisi ladki chahiye (We don’t want girls who go to cinema halls or malls. We are looking for girls who are home-makers and respect the elders, like we do).”

She insisted that she is looking for well-cultured girls for her sons, especially for Tej, who she added was very ‘religious’.
