Rahul Gandhi Offers To Resign, Party Leaders Unanimously Reject His Resignation

After an election debacle, the Congress Working Committee held a meeting to review the party’s performance.

According to a report by NDTV, Congress President, Rahul Gandhi offered to resign from the post of party president during the meeting which was unanimously rejected by the party leaders.

Talking to reporters Congress spokesperson, Randeep Surjewala said:

“We need Rahul Gandhi to guide us in these challenging times.”

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had taken “100% responsibility” for the dismal performance of his party in Lok Sabha Polls 2019.
