One of the men allegedly raped her while the other clicked pictures on his mobile phone and threatened her, Hinjewadi police said. The two accused have been arrested and booked under IPC section 376 (rape).

Police have recovered the mobile phone used by the accused, according to assistant police inspector C M Suryavanshi. Further investigation into the case was on, police added. Meanwhile, in a statement, Infosys said that the incident involves one of its partners’ contractual staff.

“We are investigating the matter and are working closely with the police to aid their investigation,” it said. The company also said that it has a “zero tolerance” policy against sexual harassment which extends to contractual staff as well, and all the campuses have stringent security measures in place.
