This Redditor’s Letter To Students Who Got Their Board Results Proves Marks Don’t Define You

The CBSE class XII results were announced yesterday, and students and parents all over the country are stressed about the next step.

The race to ace board exams leads to great anxiety in both the students and parents during the result season. This can have serious repercussions on the mental well-being of students.

It is therefore important to realise that marks don’t define a person’s worth.

Times Now

Reddit user shared a letter in this regard to all the students who got their results.

He starts by congratulating all the students. No matter how good or bad the results have been, students deserve this for fighting against all the challenges life threw at them.

There’ll be all sorts of people, some criticising and others appreciating. The key here is to ignore them.

Life is all about risks, we take some and avoid others.

And in the end, the life we lead depends on the choices we’ve made.

While getting into good colleges is what we all aim for, this isn’t the only thing that defines our future. There’s a lot beyond colleges and degrees too.

For those who didn’t do that great, this is another chance to learn and excel.

There are many inspiring stories of people who have succeeded despite not scoring well academically. Why not take inspiration from them?

Nobody knows you better than yourself. Don’t get carried away by what others have to say.

And understand that this is an equally stressing time for parents. They might get angry and all, but in the end they want our well-being.

If you are stressed, talk to people, analyse your choices and make the best out of what life has in store for you.

Best of luck!
