They Shot Dead A Dhaba Owner In Delhi As They Didn’t Want To Pay The Bill

In a horrifying incident in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar area, a restaurant owner was shot dead by unknown man after a heated argument with them over paying the bill.

The incident took place at an eatery called Sindhi Dhaba in Lajpat Nagar at 10 PM on Monday, when four men had come to have dinner, and tried to leave without paying. 

At this point the owner Vasudeo alias Pappu intervened and an altercation followed, ANI reported.

During the heated exchange, one of the four men took out a gun and allegedly shot four bullets at Vasudeo, and the men fled the spot. Vasudeo was rushed to the hospital after the police reached the spot.

A senior police officer told PTI that,

“They had their dinner and tried to leave without paying the bill. When Vasudeo tried to intervene, one of them allegedly pulled out a gun and shot four rounds there. A case has been registered and the number of the car has been noted.”
