Roger Federer’s New Sneak Attack To Thwart Serves Annoys Boris Becker

As the US Open 2015 is gearing for the much awaited grand finale between two of the most popular names in the game, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, Federer is facing flak from one of tennis greats – Boris Becker. Known for his innovative game-play, the ace sporting genius Fereder has unveiled a new shot along the course of the Grand Slam.

The new move to thwart an opponent’s serve, where Fedex runs to the edge of the service line and returns the serve with a half volley, is termed as “Sneak Attack By Roger” also known as SABR.

Despite being effective, SABR has managed to spark-off a war of words with the legendary Boris Becker terming the shot as “insulting”, and other greats like John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors backing him.

Meanwhile Roger Federer dismissed the comments and expressed his willingness to continue using SABR.
