A couple in Russia have been arrested after it was found that they’ve been indulging in violent cannibalism for the last 3 decades. 42-year-old Natalia Baksheeva and her husband, Dmitry Baksheev, 35, were detained after a road repair crew found a discarded phone of theirs. This phone, according to the Russian ministry of internal affairs, contained pictures of a man with different parts of a dismembered human body in his mouth.

According to the Daily Mail, this gruesome twosome is believed to have skinned their victims alive after sedating them, eaten parts of the bodies and preserved the remaining parts in a saline solution.

The authorities suspect the couple could be responsible for the deaths or disappearances of as many as 30 people in the area near Sochi. The police found a dismembered corpse of a 35-year-old woman, as well as a glass jar with a canned hand, fragments of the human body in saline solution and frozen meat parts of unknown origin in their home at a hostel in a military academy in Krasnodar, southern Russia.

In a revelation straight out of Sweeney Todd, it was found that former-nurse Natalia would provide pies and steamed human meat to unaware student pilots and military trainees. She also tried to supply ‘meat’ to local cafe owners, who claim they shunned her offers.

At least one jar with pickled human remains, and 19 slices of skin were also discovered in the rancid flat. The couple found their victims by setting up meetings on dating sites. The cops even found a picture of a dismembered human head on a serving plate with oranges.

The 2 have been take into custody and investigations are now on in full swing to find the complete extent of their crimes.
