In what appears to be a work of a right-wing extremist group, unidentified persons pelted stones at a luxury hotel in Ahmedabad where Bollywood superstar Shahrukh was staying. The incident happened early in the morning at around 5 am where miscreants threw stones outside the hotel and damaged his car. The attackers chanted slogans like ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Shahrukh Khan Hai Hai’. No one was injured in the commotion.
The attackers have not yet been identified but the incident was captured on CCTV camera. According to a report by ABP Live, there were similar protests earlier this month by members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) when Khan was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Raees’ in Bhuj.
