Amitabh Bachchan Tweets Of Shootout At Film City ’20 Feet From’ Him, 1 Injured

A security agency owner was reportedly shot at by ‘bike-borne men’ on Friday, May 22 afternoon in Film City, Mumbai, The Times of India reports.

“Shinde was seated outside his office at Film City. The unknown shooters fired three rounds, of which two struck Shinde in the stomach and one struck him in the arm. Securitymen present on the site gave chase to the shooters for some distance. Eventually, the shooters got off their bike and fled on foot towards the forest,” the report reads.

Amitabh Bachchan, who was in the vicinity, tweeted about the incident.

Shinde was rushed to the Lifeline Hospital in Malad and later shifted to the Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle.

Mumbai Police is investigating the case. They are looking to match the registration number of the bike with RTO records to find the owner.

“We will also investigate whether Shinde was receiving any threat calls earlier,” Additional Commissioner Fatehsinh Patil told TOI.
