While most stories about India involve brutalities against women that went unpunished, a pair of sisters from Rohtak in Haryana recently proved that they can give as good as they get and then some. The perverted men in this Haryana Roadways bus were unprepared for how these college girls would react to their unwarranted molestations, as the girls release a volley of belts and fists on their faces. The passivity of the other passengers is also a telling indicator of the general Indian mindset.
It is reassuring to know that all the three men accused of eve-teasing have been arrested. The bus driver and conductor, neither of whom raised a finger, have also been suspended.
The Haryana government has taken note of the issue and will be giving the two bravehearts awards for courage as well as cash compensation.
