Speeding Car Kills 6 After It Rams Into A Religious Gathering In A UP Village

Six persons were killed and 12 others injured after a speeding car hit them when they had gathered for a religious function in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took on Monday at night in Gauri Bazar area of Pannaha village, where a large number of people had gathered for ‘Devi Puja’ and a speeding car lost control and hit them.

While six persons, including two women died on the spot, 12 others were injured. The injured were rushed to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable. The vehicle has been impounded and one person arrested in connection with the case.
