Swiss Champ Wawrinka The New ‘Clay King’, Snatches Away French Open Title From Djokovic

The wait is finally over. Stanilas Wawrinka is the unbeaten winner of Roland-Garros French Open 2015. The rank eight from Switzerland had a swashbuckling 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4 victory over world number one Novak Djokovic in a breathtaking final on Sunday, June 7.

“I played the match of my life, it’s hard to believe. Playing against Novak was one of the biggest challenges. I know how much he wanted this Roland Garros,” Wawrinka said court-side.
