Popular television actress Sudha Shivpuri breathed her last on 20th May 2015. The 77-year-old actress is best remembered for her award-winning role as ‘Baa’ in television serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.
According to sources, she passed away due to old age related illness. The funeral is expected to take place in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Sudha made her foray into theatre at an early age after having lost her father. Subsequently, she married popular actor Om Shivpuri and formed a theatre company with him named Dishantar.
A veteran to the field of acting, Sudha worked in numerous plays before making a name for herself in cinema as well. Insaf Ka Tarazu, Sawan Ko Aane Do, Burning Train, Maya Memsaab are just a few movies she starred in.
The veteran TV actress is survived by her daughter and son.
