In a horrific incident, a tantrik (black magician) beheaded a sex worker to gain superhuman abilities in West Bengal.
The incident reportedly took place last week in the Tamluk area of Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. It came to light after the woman’s beheaded body was found last Saturday. The accused Ramapado Manna has been arrested, reports The Hindu.
Manna is a resident of Baguihati in the north-eastern fringes of Kolkata.
According to the Superintendent of Police of Purba Medinipur Alok Rajoria, Manna had been practising black magic for the last six months.
Police further revealed that after meeting the woman at a railway station, the accused invited the woman to his house. While on their way, the duo stopped at a liquor shop and gulped a few drinks. Subsequently, the woman fell unconscious.
Later, Mannu strangled her and beheaded her.
Rajoria said,”He has been charged under several Sections of the IPC, including 302 (murder). “He was sent to police custody for 10 days.”
