Teenage Girl Dies After Being Set Ablaze By Stalkers In Her Own House

In an unfortunate incident, a 17-year-old girl died after she was set ablaze by two men at her residence in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.

After receiving third degree burn, Indumathi succumbed to her injuries. The two youth identified as Chinna Vicky and Pedda Vicky had been harassing her for some time, says a report by ANI.

Even after repeated warnings to the boys and informing her parents about the harassment faced by her, both the accused continued to stalk her.

The victim was in the bathroom when they locked her in, doused her with kerosene and set her on fire.

An FIR has been lodged under Section 307 of the IPC and both the accused have been arrested.
