Teenager Dies In Hyderabad Zoo While Climbing A Waterfall To Click A Selfie

Manjeet Chowdhary,a 16-year-old teenager was visiting the Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad, after his exams with his family.  He entered a restricted zone in the park and tried to climb an artificial rock waterfall to click a selfie, The New Indian Express reported. Unfortunately, this ended tragically.

He slipped and fell while climbing the waterfall. He was immediately taken to the clinic inside the zoo premises and was taken to OGH Hospital. Unfortunately doctors there declared him brought dead.

Zoo officials have now increased security around the area. 

“Between 1 PM to 1.30 PM he climbed the rock around which an artificial waterfall was put up. He slipped and fell down either while trying to take a photo of the place from a cell phone or a selfie…which is not clear immediately,” Bahadurpura police station Inspector Harish Kaushik told DNA
