The initiative is the brainchild of Forbes billionaire Azad Moopen, a Dubai-based Doctor who is also a healthcare entrepreneur.

Tendulkar will take the pledge alongside 5000 children at a stadium.

The 42-year-old, who bid adieu to international cricket in 2014, has been actively supporting social causes and is a United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador.
