These UP Cops Got A Dead Body Dumped In A River After Being Unable To Decide Jurisdiciton

In what can be termed as an act of absolute insensitivity, officials belonging to the Uttar Pradesh Police got a dead body dumped into a river as they were unable to decide which police station’s jurisdiction it lay in.

The shocking incident reportedly took place on Sunday at night when an identified dead body was found in the area between Hazratganj and Mahanagar Police Station limits in Lucknow.

However, police officers from both the stations were clueless about whose jurisdiction it came under. They thus embarked on a ‘solution’ and called a fisherman who dumped the body into Gomti river, reported ANI.

The Director General of Police (DGP) has ordered the immediate suspension of the two police officials while the body has been taken out and sent for post-mortem, reported India Today.
