This Organisation Is Lending A Helping Hand & Rescuing Animals In Flood-Hit Maharashtra

Aishwarya Dharni

Monsoons in Maharashtra are known to cause flooding and poor infrastructure leads to lives being in danger.

Animal lives cannot help themselves like humans do and India’s turmeric capital, Sangli, is facing major floods this monsoon.

An organisation by the name of Animal Rahat has been on a mission to rescue trapped dogs and so far, they’ve saved the lives of five adult dogs and five puppies.

Meteorologists have predicted heavy rains for the next week as well means the flooding is not going to get better any time soon.
