This Ceo Just Gave A 7 Lakh Raise To All His Employees. Mera Toh Appraisal Bhi Nahi Hua!

If you think your boss is the best, we are going to burst your bubble because we’ve officially found the world’s best boss, guys!

Dan Price, the CEO of a Seattle-based credit card processing company, Gravity Payments announced ₹7.08 lakh (10K USD) raise annually for all his employees, with immediate effect. (Bosses, are you listening?)

Well, that wasn’t the only good news the employees of the company got this week. According to sources, Dan also said that in the next 5 years, there will be a raise in the minimum salary of the company from ₹28.3 lakh to ₹49.6 lakh annually. (What an angel!)

During an interview he said,

I’m kind of heartbroken right now by the vast consolidation of wealth and power that’s happening, and in addition how that’s affecting our decisions around climate.

Apart from giving his employees a major raise, Dan cut his salary by 80-90%. He said,

Previously, I was making a million dollars a year and people working for me were making $30,000 a year and that’s wrong, I was feeding into the problem. I’m sick of being part of the problem, I want to be part of the solution.

Once the new system was in place, Dan claimed that he saw dramatic changes in his employees’ lives which made him happy.

Earlier, due to low pay, employees in his company refused to have kids but now things have changed drastically. He gets news of about 30 babies from his employees each year and he couldn’t be happier.

He came up with this solution because the major reason behind the economic slowdown of a country is mostly concentrated distribution of wealth.

And, in order to promote substantial pay and increased work opportunities, profits of a company must be distributed equally among all employees and that’s exactly what he did.

His smart move has certainly set an example for all the entrepreneurs out there who are trying to make it big.
