This Chennai ‘Hotel For Dogs’ Found A Simple Solution When Its Facilities Were Full

As the century’s heaviest rains pounded Chennai leaving lakhs of people stranded, a few lucky canines from the flood-ravaged city have found a safe home in Bengaluru, thanks to the efforts of a group that provides dog boarding services.

When Chennai-based “Hotel for Dogs” started getting distress calls from worried dog owners seeking help for their pets, they decided to move canines to their Bengaluru ‘hotel’ as they were unable to take dogs in their Chennai facilities.

However, this service for the canines is not a charity. ‘Hotel For Dogs’ will charge for this service at different rates.

And they posted this on their Facebook page on December 1:

As the rains keep pouring and our city is slowly sinking. We have been getting a lot distress calls from dog owners…

While many of them posted their contact numbers seeking help, there were people who said they were willing to provide shelter to dogs if needed.

“If you need a place to board the dogs once they get to Bangalore, I can take in 2-3. I already have a dog, and they’ll be in friendly company,” Facebook user Bharat Rameshwar commented on the post.
