This Elite French Police Dog Lost His Life During The Saint-Denis Ops In Paris

A French police dog named Diesel was killed during the counter-terror operation in the northern Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis.

According to French media, the elite forces dog was killed at the very beginning of the operation, which later led to arrests and the deaths of terror suspects.

“Diesel, a seven-year-old Belgian Shepherd police dog from RAID, has been killed by the terrorists during the ongoing operation,” said a statement by the French national Police.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, s ome apartments were raided by the Police while targeting the suspected mastermind of the Paris shootings, Abdelhamid Abaaoud.

At least five officers suffered minor injuries in the raid, some after a woman at the scene detonated a suicide vest full of explosives.
