The series of attacks in Paris might have taken many lives but it could not decimate the love that kept these innocent people bound together with their closed ones. While the stories of tragedy keep coming in, a young lady decided to pay tribute to her lover by posting an old photograph with a message.

36-year-old Nick was from London and was shot in front of Helen Wilson, an American expat who herself suffered serious injuries during the attack. According to The Telegraph , a statement issued by Nick’s family said that he was “everyone’s best friend” and died “doing the job he loved”. “It is with huge sorrow that we can confirm that our beloved Nick lost his life at the Bataclan last night,” the statement said. It also added, “Nick was not just our brother, son and uncle, he was everyone’s best friend – generous, funny and fiercely loyal.
