This Kid Saved 1,000 Coins To Buy A Lightsaber From Amazon & He Got A Big Surprise

SW Staff

Talk about wishes coming true, and Delhi kid Rudra will vouch for that.

Seven-year-old Rudra desperately wanted a lightsaber – the Jedi blade made of pure energy – after he watched The Force Awakens, the most recent in the Star Wars series.

He asked his mom to buy it for him, who advised him to save money for it. Rudra did, only that he ended up with more than 1,000 coins in his piggybank!

Of course, he was now unsure of whether Amazon will accept the coins as payment.

On his mother’s advice, he wrote to Amazon asking them if they would, as cash-on-delivery.

Amazon responded. And how! As Rudra’s mother mentioned in her her now viral Facebook post, Amazon’s reaction blew them away.
