Three Indian Soldiers Killed, One Mutilated Amid LoC Clashes With Pakistan Army

Three Indian soldiers were killed and the body of one of them was mutilated by Pakistan troops on the Line of Control (LoC) in Machhal sector of Kashmir, the Indian Army said on Tuesday.

This is the second such incident of mutilation of the body of an Indian soldier on the LoC since 29 October.

According to NDTV, the attackers were part of the Border Action Team of the Pakistani Army, and all of them managed to escape. 

The Army’s Northern Command said ‘retribution will be heavy for the cowardly act’.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar was briefed by Vice Chief of Army Lt Gen Bipin Rawat on the killing of three soldiers.
