Flying Will Never Be the Same: Twitter Bids Adieu As Jet Airways Suspends Flight Operations

One of India’s largest carrier, Jet Airways, has temporarily shut down operations amidst financial crisis. 

The airline, had been in service for 25 years. Its last flight took off on Wednesday. The suspension of the airline has rendered as many as 16,000 permanent employees jobless.

The entire country took to Twitter to share their memories with the airline and demand justice for the employees who now face an uncertain future. 


India hopes Jet gets its wings back, and flies again.
