Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, also the world’s richest person, has announced that he has donated $98.5 million to 32 organisations across 23 states of the USA to help homeless families.
Now, normally that’s a good thing. However, as pointed out by Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party in the UK, that’s 0.09% of his entire wealth.
Corbyn’s tweet has also prompted a multitude of other Twitter users to criticise one of the world’s richest men on giving back peanuts to the society.
Look, $98 million is undoubtedly a massive amount to pay for charity, but not when your net worth is about $110 billion.
