‘Let His Fans Be His Force’, Bollywood Stands In Support With Salman Khan

Bollywood actor Salman Khan was proven guilty of all charges against him in the 2002 hit-and-run case by Judge DW Deshpande at a Mumbai Sessions court on Wednesday.

The actor has been charged with culpable homicide and sentenced to 5 years of jail term under section 304(2) of the Indian Penal Code .

On Wednesday morning Salman’s sister Arpita Khan tweeted saying,

Salman reportedly listened to the verdict with tears in his eyes while his brother Sohail Khan left the court premises disappointed.

“I will pray for a lesser sentence. I have full sympathy with him,” said Hema Malini as the verdict was made public.

“Heart goes out to Salman,” said Sanjay Dutt’s sister Priya Dutt . Priya also said that she completely understands what mental condition Salman is going through.

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi said, “I am really feeling very bad that my colleague Salman has been convicted. I think he still has a scope to appeal it to the higher courts. I think definitely he will have some considerations. He has got chance to take bail, meanwhile he can do justice to his films which have been committed.”

Raj Babbar , who has shared screen with Salman in “Bodyguard”, said, “It is a relief to those who were killed during the incident… Salman and his family are hurt. We respect the court’s verdict.”
