Support Pours In On Twitter As Nepal Earthquake Causes Massive Destruction

An earthquake of magnitude 7.9 hit Nepal on Saturday morning, the biggest to hit Nepal in the last 81 years. Parts of India have also been severely hit.

As the toll mounted consistently, support and solidarity poured in on Twitter for the earthquake victims in India and Nepal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted saying, “Spoke to PM Sushil Koirala, who is in transit in Bangkok on his way to Kathmandu. Assured all support & assistance during this tough time.”
