Twitter Will Now Let You Record & Share Videos In Direct Messages

Twitter seems to be stepping up its game. To counter the slow growth of its users, Twitter has been constantly modifying its basic features and now it’s letting users capture and share videos using direct messages on the platform.

The feature is rolling out globally to iOS and Android so you’ll soon be able to both record and share videos from within Twitter’s mobile app, the company says.

If you want to add a video to your DM, simply tap the camera icon next to the compose message box (where you would normally enter the text you wish to send). You will then have the option to either send pre-recorded media from your phone library, or record a video on the spot using your phone’s camera, which can then be attached.

If you don’t see it yet, the new feature should show up on your device in the coming days.
