Twitterati Unimpressed, Mock MNS’s Rs 5 Cr ‘Penalty’ For Films With Pakistani Actors

MNS chief Raj Thackeray has asked the producers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to pay a ‘penalty’ of Rs 5 crore to the army welfare fund for having a Pakistani actor in it. He has said that amount has to be paid for the release of the film.

The decision was announced after movie’s director Karan Johar met Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Thackeray, seeking an assurance for the smooth release of the film on October 28.

Thackeray has demanded film producers give in writing that they will not work with any Pakistan artistes and technicians in the future. While Johar might have conceded to the unreasonable demand to facilitate the release of his film, people on Twitter are not very happy about it.
