In another case of cruelty against Dalits, two Dalit youths were beaten and urinated upon by some men allegedly for stealing a motorcycle in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.

The incident took place at Babutola under Paru block in Muzaffarpur district on Wednesday night when the two youth went there to attend a rural fair during ongoing Annapurna-Mahayagya, said the FIR filed by Sunita Devi, who is one of the victim, Rajiv Kumar Paswan’s mother.

Rajiv Kumar Paswan and his friend Munna Paswan were caught on July 20 by Mukesh Thakur and his henchmen, locked in a room and later badly beaten after being accused of stealing a motorcycle, said the police official.

Thakur is the husband of Utri-Paru panchayat head.

To further torture and humiliate them, Thakur’s nephew also urinated into their mouths, said the FIR.

The police has now begun its investigating into the matter. Muzaffarpur Superintendent of Police Vivek Kumar has asked a deputy superintendent of police to investigate into the complaint.
