Apparently, officials received multiple complaints that Aadhaar card-related sub-links on those websites were redirecting visitors to pornographic portals and images.

The state authorities were also notified about this issue by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), New Delhi.

Talking about this, Ravi Jha, Secretary of the Information Technology department, said:

We are investigating how and why these IP addresses redirected visitors to pornographic websites. We will find the root cause within two to three days.
