Upset Over Being Challaned For Drunk Driving, Delhi Man Sets Fire To Bike

The Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 2019 was implemented on September 1 and that led to the traffic police issuing 3,900 challans in a single day. However, people reacted differently to being challaned since half of them weren’t even aware of the specifications.

According to reports, a man in Delhi was issued a challan for violating traffic rules near Chirag Delhi area. His bike was being impounded when the man allegedly set his motorbike on fire.

The police claim that the man was under the influence of alcohol.

A case has been registered against him, and charges for drunk driving will be decided by the court.
