Sachin Tendulkar’s Son Arjun To Appear In 10th Board From UP?

In what could be termed as an extreme case of carelessness, Uttar Pradesh Education board has issued a admit card to a student with the photograph of Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar.

The education board issued the admit card to a student of an inter-college in Agra. The name on the card clearly shows as Arjun Singh with Roll number 0025488, including details of his parents, and his date of birth, but the photograph is of Tendulkar’s son, who doesn’t have any connection with the UP board.

While speaking to Times of India, Dinesh Kumar, district inspector of schools of Agra, said, ” A committee has been setup in the matter to probe it. Though we have found that, there is not a single photo in the attendance sheet of the examination center to cross check the student’s identification, where candidate Arjun other students will give their exam.”

The admit card was issued to Arjun Singh for the state high school board exam. The examinations are scheduled to begin from Thursday which will be attended by 1.6 lakh students in Agra, the report adds.
