Everyday, one student will be assigned the job of telling the rest of the students about one development or welfare scheme during the prayer assembly, Chamoli’s District Magistrate Vinod Kumar Suman said.

It will ensure that benefits of the schemes reach their beneficiaries and the schemes achieve their objectives, he said.

The book introduces the schemes, their targeted beneficiaries and how they can avail them, the official said, adding that the book is also being sent to government departments, people’s representatives and gram pradhans to aware people in the remotest part of the state.
