Watch: Italian Sailors Rescue A Labrador Puppy Who Was Lost at Sea

A labrador puppy named Noodle fell off from a ferry at the coast of Italy and a group of sailors found him swimming all by himself in the gulf of Naples according to a report on ABC News Online .

“We approached, we were sailing and manoeuvring was not easy. He was visibly exhausted, his legs almost paralysed by the cold. He trembled and wept,” said sailor Massimiliano Cappa .

Cappa dried Noodle’s wet fur and warmly cuddled the freezing animal in his arms. Later, the animal was taken on a rescue boat back to the shore where he was reunited with the owner.

“I am very happy, I could embrace him again. But I’m still upset and angry about what happened: when the dog fell into the sea [and] the ferry would not stop ,” said Mr Meglio, the owner.
