As the debate rages on about what is anti-national, NDTV’s Ravish Kumar has come out with a video to explain what exactly nationalism is and how it has been used by different forces over the course of history.
Ravish Kumar said that a problem with nationalism ‘is that anyone can claim to understand it without properly studying the subject’, and that before the 19th century no one even knew about it, but in the past 200 years movements like fascism and totalitarianism took shape in the name of nationalism.
