The world is enraged at the recent abortion ban in Alabama and Missouri. A week after Alabama legislators voted to ban abortions for nearly every case, Missouri became the eighth state on Friday to join the band.
The law passed in Alabama has banned all sorts of abortions except the ones where a mother is at ‘serious risk’. This law makes no exceptions for incest and rape. Doctors who attempt to carry out terminations will face 10 years in prison, while doctors who perform the abortion could be given a 99-year sentence.
