After Rajan, Now Swamy Wants Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian To Go

After targetting Raghuram Rajan, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanium Swamy now wants government’s Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian to be sacked. Strangely enough, Subramanian, unlike Rajan, was appointed to the post after the Modi government took charge in 2014.

In a series of tweets. the senior BJP leader demanded the removal of Subramanium:

Swamy has played a pivotal role in forcing RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan out with his relentless campaign against him over the last month. Rajan, whose tenure ends in July, chose to return to academics with no sign of the government wanting to extend his tenure.

Subramanian has not responded to the demand yet.
