In the aftermath of his party’s defeat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, a video of senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan chiding a UP bureaucrat is doing the rounds on social media.
In the video, the Rampur MLA is seen lashing out at a sub-divisional magistrate for the poor condition of the roads in Mandi village where he had visited.
“You were lying in a well. Is this why we transferred and brought you here? What kind of road is this? Is this the kind of road we will travel on?”, the leader who is well known for his controversial statements asked the official, reports ANI News.
He also added that had he slipped, he would have become ‘a joke on national television’.
In the end, he warned the official of strict action against him saying that he is still the minister who is authorised to take the necessary action.
