BJP’s Tarun Vijay Says Sorry For Saying India Lives With South Indians, But Wasn’t Spared

After a stunningly poor rebuttal against allegations of racism in India, BJP leader Tarun Vijay took to Twitter in order to apologise for his statements.

Vijay in a recent interview on Al Jazeera while trying to defend India against the charge of racism following attacks on African students, he said, “We have blacks, black people around” and asked, “If we were racist, why would we have the entire south?”

However, the former MP was nothing but contrite on Twitter as he tried to make amends:
