The Bharatiya Janata Party’s spectacular performance in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections hasn’t gone down well with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati who has alleged that the electronic voting machines have been tampered with.
“”The victory of the BJP in Muslim-dominated constituencies only confirms that electronic voting machines have been tampered with. Muslims are saying that they did not vote for the BJP, so where have the votes for the BJP come from?” Mayawati said in a press conference after her party performed badly.
Mayawati has said that she has written a complaint to the Election Commission. But Twitteratti is in no mood to support her concerns and slammed her for not accepting defeat gracefully.
