Martin Luther King Jr. had a simple dream. Of peace and equality. It is ironic how he preached nothing but that and yet he was assassinated. There was a lot of conspiracy surrounding his death. Aged just 39, his autopsy also revealed that he had the heart of a 60-year-old. Attributed purely to the stress of making the world a better place.
He was the youngest man ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. But the world was extremely cruel to him. Even then he lived for the world and died trying to make it right. He had been through enough to give up on our godforsaken species, but he always had hope and that is what made him so great.
Our words cannot do justice to his greatness, but maybe his words can be a fitting tribute to the man’s legacy.
