How far would you go to prove your love for chicken?
A couple from Worcester, England, is such a huge fan of KFC that they held their wedding reception at one of its branches.
48-year-old Edward Simms and his 34-year-old wife Cherish got married at a registrar office. The couple didn’t want a boring reception, so they got in touch with the restaurant to seek permission and the restaurant obliged.
They even decorated the entire eating area with red KFC balloons. And they enjoyed a finger-licking KFC meal with their close friends and family!
The couple told Daily Mail:
We love eating chicken and chips and we probably order food from there around once a week. We didn’t want a boring reception where we would have to organize everything ourselves so we thought why not see if it was possible.
While Edward Simms is a plant mechanic, his wife is a full-time mother. This wedding reception was not only unique but also saved them a lot of money!
The couple ended up spending less than ₹9000 to feed their guests and utilised rest of the money for their 2-week long honeymoon in Amsterdam.
