This Poem About Finding Love In Little Things Is The Perfect Recipe For A Long-Lasting Relationship

Srishti Magan

Two people can fall in love for a number for reasons. But when two people stay in love, more often than not, it’s the little things that make it happen.

Just like the things that Priya Malik and Simar Singh talk about in their poem, When I Am In Love, presented by UnErase Poetry

The two talk about how, when two people are in love, it’s the fight over the little things and the simple moments that make up the greatest memories.

It’s the fight over blankets, alarms, AC temperature, the ‘toilet-seat’ battle, and sharing Netflix passwords but not Nutella that actually make up ‘true love’.

And when you’re being loved, the little things soon translate into a comfort where the silences don’t need words and the presence of your partner is the feeling of returning home.

It’s a beautifully simple piece that talks about how love is not always in the grand gestures but sometimes, in the little things.
