The two-year suspension imposed on  Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals by the Supreme Court (SC) appointed Justice (Retd.) Lodha Committee is over. The two franchises will now participate in next year’s Indian Premier League.

To celebrate the occasion, Former CSK skipper MS Dhoni posted a picture on Instagram of him donning a yellow jersey with the word ‘Thala’ and number ‘7’ printed on it. The word ‘Thala’ means ‘leader’ or ‘boss’.

The picture was also shared by the franchise’s official twitter account.

Under Dhoni’s cpataincy, the franchise won the 21010 and 2011 IPL title. They also won Champions League T20 twice, in 2010 and 2014.

The franchises were suspended after the SC found them guilty in spot-fixing and betting scandal in 2013.

Dhoni played for Rising Pune Supergiant in the last two seasons, when CSK were suspended.
